I watched Ingmar Bergman's *Scenes from a Marriage* again. And *Winter Light*. What interested me was the portrait of a woman who goes into denial after the disappearance of her husband, and how she tries to rebuild her life, or rather, how she is unable.

I watched a lot of French films, particularly by female directors, or films with strong female protagonists. So I watched Vagabond, I watched Rosetta, I watched A Woman Under the Influence, I watched Fat Girl, Sous le Sable, The Piano Teacher. I love those films. They all have such specific points of view, and they’re so uncompromising in their vision of women.
