I applied those same principles to the fight scenes in "Raging Bull."

Rosi’s films, particularly 'Il momento della verità,' with their visceral, almost anthropological, approach to blending documentary realism with dramatic narrative, were a major inspiration. That merging of reality and narrative deeply affected me, especially in films like 'Raging Bull,' in its raw honesty and physicality.
