We just tried to keep it old school John Woo, old school Jackie Chan, old school Shaw Brothers, you know. Lau Kar-leung, 36th Chamber of Shaolin, Five Deadly Venoms, Dirty Ho, Heroes of the East. All that stuff is in our DNA. So it was a constant challenge to stick to that, but also evolve it for modern cinema.
