I also went back to movies that I really loved where the main character loves movies, and that’s something that really informed Baby Driver. Whether it’s 'Ed Wood' or 'Boogie Nights' or 'The French Connection', those are all movies where the main character is really obsessive about their chosen craft.

The other one, and this is completely different, but I really love the movie Ed Wood. And I feel like there’s a whole generation of filmmakers who were formed on this idea of, 'I'm going to make the movie I want to make' and 'Ed Wood' is such a beautiful example of that.
